Bill Loper - Artistic Director

 

Bill Loper is currently serving in his ninth year as Artistic Director of Harmony, and eleventh year being involved with GALA Choruses. A "semi-retired" music educator, he hold degrees from The University of Kentucky and The University of Tennessee (Chattanooga). He taught music at Evergreen High School for twenty three years, where, in 2005, the Bill Loper Performing Arts Scholarship was established. Bill also has received the KCNC Teacher Who Makes a Difference (1988) and the Colorado Governor's Award for Excellence in Education (1995). Most recently he performed as Man in Chair in "The Drowsy Chaperone" with Conifer Stage Door Theater. Bill is honored and thrilled to be involved with Harmony, as we continue singing our mission!  



Rosanna Rains - Assistant Director

Rosanna has a B.A. in Music Education from Metropolitan State College and an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado-Denver. After several years teaching music in public schools, she moved her energies toward church music. She has directed choirs and musicals at Montview Presbyterian Church, Montclair Methodist, Washington Park UCC, and at her current location, Wheat Ridge Congregational Church. Rosanna plays flute in the Mile High Freedom Band, performs flute and piano for special events, and also leads music sessions at Holly Creek Retirement Community. She has a passion for bringing joy to people through music. Being the Assistant Director for Harmony is an incredible gift to her, because she feels Harmony singers perform with their heart and soul like no other group. "It's a thrill to lead Harmony in creating fabulous musical experiences that enrich the audience and empower the singers!"


 John Bosick - Principal Accompanist

 

 John received his education in vocal performance at New England Conservatory in Boston and opera studies at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. While living in Boston, he was a member of the Opera Company of Boston, singin in productions of Bernstein's Mass, Cherubini's Medea, Puccini's La Boheme, Schedrin's Dead Souls (in Russian), and Verdi's Aida and La Traviata. In Boston, New York City and Denver, John has worked as a music director, organist and tenor soloist for a number of churches and synagogues. At Boulder's Dinner Theatre, he has performed in My Fair Lady, Camelot, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Phantom, and most recently The Music Man. Also at BDT he has played keyboards in the orchestra for productions of Cats, The Wizard of Oz and The King and I. He is currenly organist at Glory of God Lutheran Church in Wheat Ridge, and sings with St. Martin's Chamber Choir. John also has a private studio, teaching private voice, piano and music theory lessons.
John joined Harmony in 2003 as a tenor and became principal accompanist in the fall of 2005. He cherishes working with this loving, talented and energetic group! He is also grateful to Harmony for bringing him Jim.


 


Sheri Tracey - General Manager

Sheri has been a lover of music all her life, from marching band to stage manager for musicals in school. Sheri's life partner, Sara, is a Supp-Hose (Support Staff) member and Sheri joined the staff as General Manager in 2007. In addition, Sheri is also singing with Harmony as a member of the Tenor Section. Sheri is currently a professional Project Manager, but dreams of being a rock-n-roll star when she grows up. She is thrilled to be a part of such an unique and open organization and encourages everyone she meets to come and experience the Harmony Family.
