Joy Jenkins
Joy is delighted to be working with the lovely people of Harmony Chorale. She has been working and singing in the Metro Denver Choir communities since graduating with her Master's in Music from University of Kansas in 2000. She worked in the GALA community as Associate Director of the Denver Women's Chorus and Director of Take Note! from 2002-2012. She currently works as Music Director at the Highlands United Methodist Church as well as working for her menagerie of animal bosses at her urban farm in Lakewood.

Accompanist
Lori Hermanson Lori Hermanson has been performing and teaching in the Denver area for many years. She is an active collaborator for numerous local singers and musicians, and has accompanied choirs of various sizes and configurations for over 45 years. She has also served as rehearsal pianist and musical assistant for Opera Colorado for more than 25 years. She has performed as soloist with the Denver Symphony Orchestra and the Lamont Symphony, and in a variety of chamber ensembles. She specializes in collaborative work, and performs regularly with area choral ensembles, school groups, voice and instrumental teaching studios and churches. She is an experienced style and diction coach for singers with expertise in many languages, and also maintains an active private studio of piano students. Lori received her degree in Piano Performance from the University of Denver. |
